Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the U.S. for more than 10 seasons. She was a member and was captain of the US Olympic Women's Gymnastics Team The Fierce Five (2012) and Final Five (2016). In the 2012 Olympics she won gold in both team floor as well as the individual events. The bronze medal was awarded with the balance bar. As a result, she became the first American in the Olympics who had the most amount of medals. She and the teammate Gabby Doug were the very first Americans to take home back-to-back golds in team events. Silver medals were awarded in the individual floor and all-around event. The break was for three years between each Olympics from competing gymnastics. Also, she has been an athlete on two gold medal winning world championship teams. The gymnastics classes began at age 2 and loves exercises on the floor. Aly gives to the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity in honor of her departed grandmother. She is planning to create a profession from fashion. She would also like to increase the length of her leotards and socks. Fierce - a novel that she's currently writing, is due coming out in the year ahead.
